Universal Studios Hollywood

Seven days is actually very short for people who want to see the best of L.A. To top it off, majority of the time that we were there, our relatives were working. With only one weekend to spend, the day we arrived was Saturday, we went straight to Universal Studios Hollywood the next day. Jacob and I by the entrance My eldest sister and her family lives very close to Universal Studios. Just a short 15 minute drive without traffic according to MapQuest. They got us annual passes because at that time Universal Studios had an on-going promo. You can …

We’re Alive!

We’re finally home. We’ve been home for almost 3 weeks already. I just haven’t gotten the chance to update even just a little bit because we are still settling down and Jacob got sick again. He has gotten sick 3 times in January, so we’ve had a crazy month! Firstone was his fever and sinus infection. Secondwas an allergic reaction to either his antibiotics or the type of banana he had. Both first and second happened during the day/night before we are schedule to leave! Seems like baby boy didn’t want to go home! Anyway, we’re not sure if it …

Los Angeles, CA – Day 1

My eldest sister picked us up at the airport with her daughter/my niece. She’s 4 years old and so adorable! She doesn’t understand or speak Filipino though (I think!), as well as his little brother. The first thing we did in L.A. was eat! Traveling in economy, not that I have anything against it, you don’t really get off the plane full because of the tinie-tiny portion of food served to you that they call a meal. So yes, we were starving. Osc wanted to try out In N Out burgers so we went to the nearest one to LAX …

Hello from the East Coast!

Hello everybody! I am so sorry for the lack of updates. We have finally settled down for the mean time so I am able to put this one up. Dad carrying Jacob at the airport in his tiny carrier. Look at that poor baby! We are in New Jersey right now, spending tons of family time with my family over here. Last week, we were in Los Angeles, California with my sister and his family and Oscar’s Aunt, Uncle and cousins. It was unfortunate that we stayed for such a short time when there are a lot of things to …
