Casa-de-Alegria-Review

Cough, Fever and Allergy Triggered Eczema Flare Up

It’s been a while since I shared a story here and it sucks that it’s going to be a rant, but I just had to share. Last Saturday, Oscar’s side of the family had a big joint celebration at Casa de Alegria in Marikina for all the birthday celebrants and graduates. I found this place via Google and after a visit, it was decided this would be a nice place for the party so relatives from Marikina and Pasig will have an easier time going to the party. It seemed well kept and obviously, we were assuming to see it …

Booking Eastwood Richmonde Hotel via Traveloka

The family and I recently went on a staycation here in Manila (and you know how much I love staycations!) and I just want to share with you this new travel booking app that I discovered that I’m totally digging right now. I’ve used other booking sites before, but I’m loving Traveloka the most because of the great deals you get without paying so many fees! I downloaded the app, which you can also get here at the App Store or on Google Play. I love booking online and this Traveloka app because it allows me to search through their …

Book Your Next Vacation with TravelBook.PH

I love doing staycations with the family, I find it more relaxing than going out of town for many reasons. One being that I don’t have to battle with traffic plus driving for hours to our destination. Oh, and don’t forget the amount of packing I have to do for our little family of four! I haven’t mastered the “pack lightly” skill yet, so we still go out with about the amount of luggage for one week of stay. I’m a sigurista kasi! So I bring everything and anything we might need. This is why I love staycations in the …

TRAVEL DIARY DAY 6: SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE AND HARBOR BRIDGE

I finally got to go sight seeing on my 6th day in Sydney. We didn’t do much aside from strolling along Circular Quay and taking pictures with the Sydney Opera House and Harbor Bridge on the background. We had ice cream from Baskin’ Robbins on our way back from the Sydney Opera House to the train station on George Street. My cousin said I’m such an easy tourist to show around! Honestly, I’m not that much into going to every corner and touristy spot because I tend to just stick to what I came there to see. I was okay …

TRAVEL DIARY DAY 3: Searching for Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer

It wasn’t until late last year that I got really into the whole make-up thing. You see, I don’t really go out much since I am a work-at-home mom/stay-at-home mom so I didn’t know anything at all about make-up, not did I have anything else other than my Happy Skin SS Cream and my lippie, from Happy Skin too. I don’t know how I got sort of addicted to make-up, but I remember watching a lot of beauty vloggers and how they do simple looks for the day and thought I need to make myself more presentable somehow.  So it …

TRAVEL DIARY: MY IKEA SHOPPING HAUL!

Don’t judge me! I really prepared for this IKEA trip because there is not IKEA store (yet!) in the Philippines. I haven’t done any IKEA shopping in a long, long time. Say, 7-8  years? Yeah, it has been that long! I was still single, no kids, and with very little budget for anything. Good thing IKEA stuff are still fairly affordable. I had such a blast! Enjoy my little (okay… big!) haul video! Thumbs up if you liked it! Subscribe too!
